Advantages of our IHI DCH700 Crawler Crane Track Shoe
1)Key Advantages of Our IHI DCH700 Crawler Crane Track Shoes
Our track shoes are manufactured using a carefully controlled heat treatment process designed to achieve optimal mechanical properties and consistent performance. The following steps define our quality-driven approach:
2) Austenitizing
All castings undergo an austenitizing treatment at a temperature of 900°C. The duration is precisely calculated at one hour for each inch of casting thickness, ensuring uniform heating and complete transformation of the material structure before subsequent processing.
3)Quenching and Tempering
Following the austenitizing stage, the castings are rapidly quenched in water to achieve a hardened structure. They are then tempered under controlled conditions, with carefully selected temperature and time parameters tailored to balance strength, toughness, and wear resistance for the intended application.
Heat Treatment Protocol
All heat treatment operations are performed only after the castings have cooled to a temperature below 200°C. This precaution helps maintain dimensional stability and prevents undesirable microstructural changes. Following the quenching and tempering process, the components achieve a general hardness range of 230 to 320 BHN (Brinell Hardness Number), providing an ideal combination of durability and crack resistance for heavy-duty crawler crane operations.
