Our track shoes for the Demag CC4000 are manufactured using high-grade alloy steels to deliver superior strength and wear resistance. Depending on the specific load requirements and operational demands, the following materials are typically employed:
28CrMnMo: A chromium-manganese-molybdenum alloy steel offering excellent hardenability and resistance to impact and abrasion.
Production Process of Demag CC4000 Track Shoe
Molding: We utilize aluminum molds for casting, which produce track shoes with a smoother surface finish and tighter dimensional tolerances compared to traditional wood molds.
Casting: High-quality molten steel is poured into the molds, with chemical composition verified by a spectrometer furnace to ensure material integrity.
Heat Treatment: Each Demag CC4000 track shoe undergoes a rigorous heat treatment process, including full quenching and tempering, followed by surface hardening. This multi-stage process optimizes the core mechanical properties while maximizing surface wear resistance.
Finishing: Post-treatment processes include shot blasting to achieve a smooth surface, as well as grinding and precise machining on contact points to ensure seamless compatibility with the CC4000’s drive sprockets and rollers.
